Head of department Finance and HR Department

The Head of Department Finance and HR Department corresponds to the Finance Officer according to § 3 FinanzO. He*She manages the income and expenses of the student body. They prepare and manage the budget plan. A central component of his/her work is cooperation with the administrative staff of the AStA, especially with regard to budget planning, as well as bookkeeping and accounting. He*she also supports applicants in the preparation of financial applications. He*She is responsible for the preparation of the ancillary wage costs and for the preparation of the VAT return, as well as for the social security contributions of the student body. He*She advises and supervises the members of the student body in staff matters, and must also be consulted on decisions regarding the allocation of funds from the residence bonus. He*She is the financial supervisor of the student body and must be consulted on all direct and indirect financial matters. He*She is not bound by instructions in his*her function as representative for the budget and financial supervision.
