Hello and welcome. Thank you for your interest in working at the AStA. On this page you can apply for a department (Abteilung). For a good discussion, it makes sense to fill out the form truthfully and in full. However, answering the questions is of course voluntary.
Information on the application process:
After the entrance of the application, the completed applicant form is sent to all members of the student parliament and the university public. The Executive Board invites the applicants for AStA departments to the next meeting of the student parliament, which usually takes place on Tuesdays at 20:00 c.t. The elections take place at the beginning of the meetings. There you will have to briefly introduce yourself orally. The members of the student parliament then have the opportunity to ask questions of the applicant. Once all questions have been answered, the vote takes place. Candidates are elected by a majority of the voting members of the student parliament.
