PC pools and study rooms

Foreign Language Centre

The PC pool is available to students and employees of the University of Greifswald free of charge during office hours. External users can be granted access on request if there are free places or if no member of the University of Greifswald claims use.

Facilities:

  • Area I, workstations arranged frontally in rows, also suitable for seminars: 24
  • Area II for self-learners and small seminars:9
  • Media areaespecially suitable for scanning, video and sound editing and graphics processing: 3
  • Supervision/teaching area with central room control: 1
  • Printer b/w and colour prints in DIN A4 and DIN A3

Office hours during the lecture period:

  • Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00

During the non-teaching period, the PC pool is open at the following times:

  • Monday - Friday 12:00 - 18:00

The PC pool is closed in September.

Laptops on loan

The faculties have purchased a limited number of laptops for loan. Lending is managed by the faculty dean's offices.
please enquire there about the lending modalities.

Self-study rooms

You can also use the small Mensa (Loefflerstraße Campus) during the cafeteria's office hours to study and work!
