Geologenkeller e.V.

In the vaulted cellars beneath the Geological Institute, tradition and zeitgeist have been mingling since 1962 under the hammer and mallet, the emblem of miners and geologists. What began 55 years ago has now grown into the oldest student club in Greifswald. With its long history, the face of the geologists' cellar is also changing. Various signs cover the walls and bear witness to the adventures and travels of geology students from all years. Each generation has immortalised itself in these rooms in its own way and so it continues. Every second Friday we invite you to celebrate and have fun. In addition to exuberant theme parties, we also try to provide a cultural platform. Singers, bands and creative, entertaining artists, or those who want to become one, find a stage where they can entertain us and you with their thoughts and stories.
