As with the "big ones", the Budget Committee, with at least five members, is a small reflection of the student parliament. It is employed with (almost) all financially relevant aspects of the student body. More specifically, this means involvement in drawing up the budget, monitoring compliance with it and approving the annual financial statements as an audit committee. In addition, financial applications and many other matters relating to the student body's finances are also discussed.
This ultimately leads to a recommendation in writing for advice in the student parliament. As the Budget Committee does not make decisions, the final decision remains with the Student Parliament. A certain level of expertise and interest in the subject of finance is therefore very helpful for the work. A list of the budgets of the past years can be found here.
