Notes on data protection
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore inform you below about the collection, processing and use of your data within the framework of the application process to the Student Parliament by email or post, in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations.

Data collection
In the course of your application, we will collect and process the following personal data from you:
- Surname, Given Name(s)
- Email address
- Degree course and subject semester
Purpose of data collection / disclosure
The collection and processing of your personal data is exclusively earmarked for the processing of applications within the student body of the University of Greifswald. Your data will only be forwarded to the internal departments of the University of Greifswald's student body responsible for the specific procedure. Your data will not be used for any other purpose or passed on to third parties.
Retention period of the data
Your personal data will generally be deleted 6 months after qualification of the application procedure. This does not apply if legal provisions prevent deletion, if further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or if you have expressly consented to longer storage.

Data collection
In the course of your application process, we will collect and process the following personal data from you:
- Identification data (surname, Given Name(s))
- address data
- Identification number (Student ID Number, enrolment certificate)
- Communication data (email, telephone number)
- Account details (IBAN, BIC)
- Financing data if applicable (BAföG, professional activity)
Purpose of data collection / disclosure
The collection and processing of your personal data is exclusively for the purpose of processing applications within the student body of the University of Greifswald. Your data will only be forwarded to the internal departments of the University of Greifswald's student body responsible for the specific procedure. The request will be forwarded to the Division 2 of the University of Greifswald for examination for financing from WSP funds. Your data will not be used for any other purpose or passed on to third parties.
Retention period of the data
Your personal data will generally be deleted 10 years after qualification of the funding procedure. This does not apply if legal provisions prevent deletion, if further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or if you have expressly consented to longer storage.
